Nasi and Mee restaurant at Inorbit Mall, Andheri East, Mumbai (Maharashtra), is a Pan-Asia project that is executed with a team of project managers and various consultants required to execute a 4 star rating restaurant.
My role in this project was mainly to concentrate on how the design that is Pan- Asia is being incorporated into the provided space. All the design parameters and aesthetics were to be preserved in the given condition keeping in mind the coordination of the two with the services.
Nasi and Mee translates to ‘rice and noodles’ in Bahasa, with ‘mee’ coming from the Cantonese word for noodles - mien. Having evolved over the years through a variety of cultural influences– Chinese, Malay, Indian and Persian–South East Asian food is known to be a delicious melting pot of fusion cuisine.
